Mrs. Gina Johnson - WMS
Winters Middle School contains grades sixth through eighth and is in the Winters Joint Unified School District. The school backs up to open country and I love hearing all the meadowlarks! Hot air baloons from the Napa Valley drift overhead in the mornings until the weather gets cold. It is a small school full of caring teachers. ABOUT MRS. JOHNSON AND WMS
I am a seventh grade English and history teacher at Winters Middle School. After teaching at Esparto High School, Mattlidens Gymasium in Finland, Woodland High School, Emerson Junior High, Grace Valley Christian Academy and Winters High School, I find myself here in a classroom of seventh graders - and I love it! Why all the switching around you ask? Well, after my first six years of full-time teaching, I began having children. I raised four children while doing part-time teaching. Sometimes I needed to switch my hours around for the sake of my family, sometimes I had to pack up and move to Finland for my husband's job! I wouldn't change it because I have thus been exposed to a lot of excellent teachers and their methods.
